Position: Marketing and Public Relation Officer
Our client a Medical Clinic is looking for a Marketing and Public Relations Officer to help them run their consultancy, who shall report to the Medical Director.
The purpose of the job is to marketing to help stimulate the growth of the sales of the business. Create a positive mutual understanding with various people, patients, clients and doctors that interact with the business.
Develop marketing strategies that to help the business achieve its objectives. Increase public awareness through the printing of filers, introduction letters to organisations, create a webpage for enquiries, and conduct competitor research.
Job Responsibilities
Prospect for new clients
Marketing the medical facility to patients suppliers (including insurance companies, corporate companies, clinics and individuals
Create positive public awareness
Sign up new clients
Creating the budget for the marketing department
Get feedback from clients
Prepare invoices
Plan the sales route and itineraries
Monitor competitors activities and find a way to counter the competitors offers/actions
Design marketing material
Liaise with the chemist staff with regards to medical sales
Develop marketing material
Assist in giving health talks to clients both in and out of the office
Conducting any other duties assigned by the Head of Department or Managing Director
Required Qualifications
Diploma in Sales and Marketing (or)
Bachelors in Business Administration, Marketing or a relevant course
1-3 years experience in marketing
Good listening skills
Good communication skills
Good customer care skills
Good research skills
Good presentation skills /report writing skills
Good public relations
Good marketing/advertising skills
