Financial Advisor - 15 Positions In Nairobi

Summary of the Job Responsibilities:  
  1. Continuous communication with prospective clients with the goal of converting prospects to clients, 
  2. Building trusted relationship through well developed interpersonal and communication skills and meeting individual revenue goals. 
  3. The Financial Advisor is expected to work with clients to help them examine their immediate, medium and long-term financial situations. And to assist them determine their wealth management strategies and implement that strategy. 
  4. Primary role is to analyze clients financial status, develop a financial plan based on the data and information provided by the client, discuss options available and to prepare and submit documents to implement the plan selected by the client. 
  5. To help the individuals and groups plan on the use of their savings, incomes, and investments, from such products that may include family budgeting schemes, mutual funds, equities, property, individual retirement accounts (IRAs), insurance, real estate, or tax-sheltered investment plans to form part of the investment strategy. 
  6. To continuously maintain contact with the clients, to revise the plan based on clients modified needs or changes in the capital markets. 
  7. To build a client portfolio through well coordinated referral processes.
Job Requirements:
  1. Degree Academic qualification in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.
  2. Age:  over 28 years old.
  3. Three years and above experience as an investment advisor, with experience on shares, bonds, unit trusts and Insurance. 
  4. Salesmanship experience in the service industry with finance background added advantage. 
  5. One or more of the following professional qualifications will be an added advantage; Certified Financial Planner (CFP); Personal Financial Specialist (PFS); Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). 
  6. Strong familiarity with the local Markets and strong prospecting skills. 
  7. Book of Business desired but not required 
  8. Be able to consistently close referred businesses. 
  9. Effective verbal, written communication skills, good grooming and presentation. 
  10. Excellent time management skills, ability to work independently and in a team. 
  11. Understanding on how to use financial planning software 
  12. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
