We offer research support and capacity development programmes to development institutions and professionals in Monitoring and Evaluation, Data Management and Analysis, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
The Position
We are looking for a GIS Product Sales Intern to work in our GIS marketing team responsible for marketing for the above training products.
Salary Scale: The starting salary for this position is Kes 20,000.
Job Description
Prepare and implement a marketing plan for the section
Preparing and updating GIS and Remote Sensing training programs contents in consultation with the trainers and training and capacity building officer
Identifying individual and organisations with training needs and negotiating for contract
Maintaining and following up local and international high worth clients
Support in the developing grants applications for training programmes
Developing sales proposal and sending them to potential clients
Setting targets for for training participation and ensuring that the targets are met
Working with the Training Officer, identify qualified trainers for GIS and Remote Sensing based programmes
Reply to enquiries on email, social media and all other platforms
Following up training applications and ensuring that the applicants attend the training
Knowledge, skills and experience required
University graduate with strong computer skills
Strong selling capability.
Excellent client service skills with a gift
Pro active attitude and the urge to win
Working knowledge of GIS and Remote Sensing , a good understanding and experience of corporate training industry will be an added advantage.
