Our client is an Africa-wide Market Development Agency, developing pro-poor marketing models and strategic alliances to enhance economic growth among poor communities in various countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. Our client regional office for Africa is based in Nairobi, Kenya. Applications are invited from qualified candidates to fill the following positions.
1. Head of Communication
The purpose for this position is to develop and implement communications strategy, manage the organization’s external communications and media relations, oversee the communications team, actively participate in top management team, and help to ensure message discipline and the quality of the organization communications with stakeholders as well as internal communications. The Head of Communications will be based in the Regional Office in Nairobi Kenya and reports to the Africa Director.
Qualifications: Post graduate qualification in Communications, practical experience in busy corporate/development organization and hands-on experiences in supervising an active function in reputable organizations or corporate entities.

2. Head of Research
The purpose for this position is to provide expertise in acquiring, managing, and analyzing data for commercialization and market development expected results.The applicant for this position must have high-level understanding of market research including value chain analysis, consumer research, market opportunity analysis and business opportunity assessment. The incumbent must have hands-on experience in designing research plans, designing research tools, exposed to modern research methodologies, supervision of advanced data analysis, synthesis of critical issues drawn from the study and interpretation of findings. Highly developed report writing skills are mandatory for this position, with proved capacity to supervise report development processes, review reports and guide a research team to deliver cutting edge documentation. The candidate must be able to package research results for various audiences. Leadership qualities, ability to generate results through a team and experiences in a similar position are an added advantage.

Qualifications: Advanced degrees in Marketing, Business, Economic or any other post graduate equivalent in Business
