• Trainee Refinery Operators (2012/TRO)
• Professional Area: Operations.

Desired Academic Qualifications and brief description.

• KCSE minimum qualification of C+.
• A technical Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Analytical Chemistry with credit pass.
• Fresh Diploma Holders are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates should be aged between 21-28 years.
• Trainees will be trained to operate process equipment and production processes in a safe, efficient and effective manner to achieve the company set production targets

Requirements

• Proficiency in computer use; especially Microsoft windows based programs.
• A university Degree in remote sensing and or GIS.
• Must be analytical and should posses problem solving skills.
• Should be able to communicate effectively and have good report writing and presentation skills.
• Should have sound knowledge of GIS application and Spatial data analysis.
• Result oriented.
• Should be able to demonstrate enthusiasm about adult training.
• Should have sound knowledge of mapping techniques and image processing techniques
• Should have knowledge on use of open GIS and other relevant remote sensing softwares including ILWIS and QGIS.
