Position: Sales Representative - FMCG
An FMCG company based in Nairobi requires sales representative candidates. Must have a valid driving licence, class BCE.
Duties:
• Keeping in contact with existing customers in person and by phone
• Making appointments with and meeting new customers
• Agreeing sales, prices, contracts and payments
• Meeting sales targets
• Promoting new products and any special deals
• Advising customers about delivery schedules and after-sales service
• Recording orders and sending details to the sales office
• Giving feedback on sales trends
• Develop the support team in the use of data and formats
• Develop a process of regular communication of key reports
• Draw insight from quantitative data and transform in qualitative reports
Attributes and skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• An outgoing and likable personality
• A high degree of self-motivation
• Able to work own your own initiative and as part of a team
• Strong customer focus
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Resilience and persistence combined with the ability to cope with rejection
• Commercial awareness
• Analysis of data to improve sales decision making
Qualifications Required
Required Qualifications: Undergraduate
Degree or Sales Diploma with 4 years’ experience in the same position
Experience 5 years sales exposure, Skills & Knowledge
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Computer literate (Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical & problem solving skills. Attention to detail.
• Share ideas/information and experience with team members
• Knowledge transfer to Sales and Sales Support
Salary: Ksh. 30,000
